Angus & Julia Stone ProfileSibling indie-pop duo Angus & Julia Stone have shot to the top of this week’s ARIA Albums Chart with their latest album, Karaoke Bar.
It’s the pair’s sixth album, and their sixth record to land in the top 10. Angus & Julia Stone previously reached #1 on the chart with their 2010 album, Down The Way, and their 2014 self-titled record. Karaoke Bar also debuted at #1 on the Australian Albums Chart and #2 on the Vinyl Chart.
The achievement comes just days after the duo announced an epic Australian tour for February and March 2027.
Angus & Julia Stone wrote and recorded their latest album across Greece, France, and Australia. It’s an album of movement and creative exploration, featuring singles including The Cherry Farm, Monroe, Celestial Bodies, and the title track.

In late August, Sydney rockers DMA’S scored their first-ever ARIA #1 album with their self-titled album.
In addition to Angus & Julia Stone’s incredible week on the charts, South African-born, Melbourne-based singer Ecca Vandal is also seeing chart success.
Following the vinyl release of her second album, LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO UNFOLLOW, she’s hit #1 on the Vinyl Chart, #2 on the Australian Albums Chart and re-entered the Albums Chart at a new peak of #12.
Elsewhere, homegrown rockers Airbourne debuted at #19 with their self-titled sixth album, #3 on the Australian Albums Chart, and #5 on the Vinyl Chart.
And with their live album, Truth Or Consequence (Live from El Coyote), Amyl and The Sniffers landed at #23 on the Albums Chart, #4 on the Australian Albums Chart and #4 on the Vinyl Chart.
