Glide into 2026 down at the Wheaty with an evening of original Jazz Harp Sounds, String arrangements and Songs
featuring special guest vocalist Lou Blackwell
and members of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra.
Diane’s individual jazz style has taken her to play in international harp festivals, jazz festivals and to and to collaborate with renowned musicians in Australia and Italy for over 2 decades. This special edition brings together long-time music colleagues and friends from Adelaide. Michael Robertson on Viola, Gemma Phillips on Cello and Harley Gray on Bass (all members of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra) will perform Diane’s string trio for Bass Viola and cello among the other arrangements of Diane’s jazz cross-over music.
Exited to have the appearance of Lou Blackwell currently in vogue in Australia's venues and festivals with her stunning project The French Set. 2.1.26 at the Wheaty, will be a reuniting of Lou and Diane for a few songs from the ol’ days of their Celtic-jazz duo “Paris - Melbourne express”.
