What?
Following a massive 2023, and 2024, Travis Collins is set to charge into 2025 with the release of his 10th full length release, The Band Album, recorded entirely with his touring band.
This release will coincide with his performance at Australia’s largest country music festival, CMC Rocks; and six separate headline album launch show dates in March and April 2025.
"When I started thinking about recording this new album, I was searching for a fresh and different approach to anything I'd done before.. it seemed ironic and crazy to me that I'd never actually recorded or 'created' music with the people who've played the most music with me, for most of my career - my touring band. That realisation floored me, curiosity immediately turned to creative excitement. 'The Band Album' was born.
In many ways, it felt like I was recording my first album. There was an entirely new energy, creativity, and enthusiasm that really shines through on this album. I hold the songs, the memories of creating them, and the entire experience very close to my heart. I can't wait for people to hear it."
To celebrate the announce, Travis releases the third single from the new studio album, Good Thing Comin’. This single is the follow up to the previously released tracks, Different Dreams and Don’t Get Me Started.
Recorded with Jared Adlam in his Queensland studio, Travis describes the track, “Holding on for a ‘good thing coming’ is something that gets most of us through life. That sense or feel that something great is around the next bend or over the next hill. Sometimes, that hope itself is more important than the actual thing you’re hoping for.”
Travis Collins has had an incredible journey in country music, with nine albums released to date, he hit new highs with his 2023 album, ‘Any Less Anymore’ which became the highest charting Australian country album of 2023, debuting at #3 on the ARIA All-Genre Album chart and #1 on the ARIA Country Album chart.
With his soulful voice and earthy sound, Travis Collins is considered one of Australia’s finest country music artists.?He has a unique gift of piloting both heartfelt ballads and supercharged country-rock floor-fillers. The nine-time Golden Guitar Award winner (including 3 x Male Artist of the Year), four-time CMC Award winner and CMA Global Artist Award winner has toured alongside US megastars Tim McGraw and Luke Combs and his catalogue has amassed over forty-two million streams.
