Following their triumphant reunion show with vocalist Geert van der Velde at Furnace Fest 2024, legendary American progressive metalcore band Shai Hulud are thrilled to announce their return to southern shores.
Not seen in Australia since 2013's Soundwave appearance, and with almost two decades since their last time in New Zealand, Shai Hulud will hit major population centres across both countries as they bring their genre defining sound back to the southern hemisphere in January of 2026.
With van der Velde back helming vocal duties, the band will be delivering performances from their storied catalog, as well as shining a spotlight on tracks from their landmark 2003 album That Within Blood Ill-Tempered where van der Velde's unmistakable and furious delivery defined an era of metallic hardcore.
Shai Hulud is back. Stronger. Louder. And more pissed off than ever before.
