Red Hot Summer Tour Expands, More Shows Added

The current Red Hot Summer Tour, which started last week, will now run into May.

Four new shows have been added to this year’s all-Australian Red Hot Summer Tour, taking this year’s run from this month to March into May.

In case you missed it: the current edition of the popular travelling festival is led by the one and only Paul Kelly. The revered songwriter returns to the Red Hot Summer Tour with a new album, Seventy, fresh off an arena tour of Australia.

Kelly said of his return to the Red Hot Summer Tour circuit, “The band and I have many great memories from our last Red Hot Summer tour. We’re looking forward to making some new ones!”

Kelly is accompanied by legends of Australian music, including Missy Higgins, The Cruel Sea, The Cat Empire, Kasey Chambers, and Jess Hitchcock.

The new Red Hot Summer Tour dates take place at the Mornington Racecourse in Mornington, VIC, on Saturday, 11 April, followed by the Seafront Oval in Hervey Bay, QLD, on Saturday, 18 April, Whitfords Nodes Park in Hillarys, WA, on Saturday, 9 May, and the Sandstone Point Hotel in Sandstone Point, QLD, on Saturday, 23 May.

Fans can access pre-sale tickets on Wednesday, 21 January, at 9 am local time before the general sale on Thursday, 22 January, at 9 am local time. You can find tickets for all shows listed below via Ticketmaster.
