Johnny Zephyr w/ Samarah on Skin + The Hollows

‘Turn On, Tune In, Drop Out’ The Johnny Zephyr project is a Melbourne-based indie/psychedelic outfit led by Below Deck Mediterranean chef and musician Josh Bingham.

Johnny Zephyr - the alter ego of Bingham, draws inspiration from 1960s psychedelic philosophy, particularly the ideas of Timothy Leary. With fashion rooted in 1960s counterculture, Zephyr and his band blend the sounds of classic psych, 00s indie, and 90s britpop.

The result is music steeped in nostalgia, evoking a romantic sense of the past while firmly existing in the present. With their second full-length studio album NOSTALGIA set for release this May, the band are gearing up for an exciting year of live shows.
