More About these bands below!

ABOUT CANDLEMASS Formed in Stockholm in 1985 by bassist and main songwriter Leif Edling, Candlemass stand as true architects of epic doom metal. Alongside genre forebears Saint Vitus and Trouble, they defined the genre — pairing slow, crushing riffs with grand, operatic vocals and darkly majestic compositions.

Their 1986 debut album, Epicus Doomicus Metallicus, didn’t just introduce a band — it created a movement. Across four decades, Candlemass have built a towering discography and enduring global legacy, earning Swedish Grammis Awards and a nomination for Best Metal Performance at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards in the United States.

From the monumental weight of Nightfall and Ancient Dreams through to the modern doom mastery of The Door to Doom and Sweet Evil Sun, Candlemass have consistently delivered epic, crushing metal of the highest order.

Now, Australian audiences will finally experience these hymns of doom performed live.

Rockys Pride and Joy (SA) – First time ever in Perth, Rocky’s Pride & Joy are a doom metal band from South Australia, formed in 2021. Cutting their teeth during the height of the pandemic, the band quickly honed a crushing, atmospheric sound that led to the release of their debut album All The Colours of Darkness in 2023 via Italy’s Electric Valley Records. The album debuted at #15 on the global Doom Charts and earned praise from international and national outlets.

Guild - Formed in 2018 and rebranded in 2025 as Guild (FKA The Wedges), this Western Australian five-piece fuses neo-psychedelia, desert rock, metal and sludge into a commanding and immersive sound. Fronted by Molly Corderoy, whose vocal versatility ranges from ethereal melodies to raw, guttural intensity, Guild delivers a dynamic live experience that blends shifting atmospheres with powerful instrumentation.
