What topics will you be mostly talking about at WAM? Festivals.
What do you hope to personally take away from the WA Music Conference and WAM Festival events? Learning, sharing and exposure to artists and arts workers - but really that great feeling of how fantastic is WA music!
What's one question about the music industry you'd love to have the answer to? Unsure - but id love to understand what makes some 'megastars', and others unheard, especially when they are incredible! I know it's charts and media and who you know, but really? Some pretty crappy stuff sneaks into everywhere, and some mind blowing stuff stays in lounge rooms and empty bars.
One piece of advice to make it in the music biz? Believe in yourself - and LOVE what you're doing, passion rules! And perhaps have your own ball park on what you feel means you have 'made it'. Paying the bills and loving life? Or sell out stadium tours?
