Sometime SonnyThe '90s nostalgia trend has hit hard with Sometime Sonny's new clip, Wasted On Me.
Taking the viewer through a house party, complete with beer chugging and a little less '90s vibed Beyonce dancing, the Wasted On Me clip is filmed entirely using an old handheld camcorder.
Sometime Sonny is the moniker for Brisbane multi-instrumentalist Dave Campbell, who released his self-titled EP after using up all his sick days and annual leave from his job as a high school music teacher to make time for recording.
"I use songwriting as a bit of personal therapy. Sometimes my mates hear my darker songs and ask me if I’m okay - I reply with, 'I don't think I would be if I hadn't wrote this song, but now I’m happy as Larry!'," says Campbell.
"It helps me sort out my head, and I get to work with my friends in the process."
