We love dogs around here at The Music. So a brand new video from Approachable Members Of Your Local Community that features one? It's a match made in premiere heaven.

Directed and edited by the band themselves and shot in regional Victoria by videographers Nyssa Mitchell and Maddie Mytkowski, the clip for groove-laden One I Need featuring Heaps Good Friends, has a wholesome, DIY feel that perfectly matches the tone of the tune.

“This video was great for us to tackle hands on, and go back to the amazing feeling of creating something ourselves," said Max Korman.

"After so much collaboration went into the song, we thought maybe we could get on top of a video ourselves. That homey, feel-good, do-it-yourself vibe is what this clip is all about. The One I Need is about that feeling of needing someone or something. It is trying to bring to everyone's attention those complex feelings of letting go and those tensions of feeling like you still need someone or something. Bringing Betty the dog into the clip was all about that idea. Betty represents that idea of needing something.

"Bringing the relationships humans can have with animals to the centre of the song was something we thought could reinforce the ideas in the lyrics. We all have that thing we need, and struggle to let go of, and sometimes that is a cute and fluffy dog. The clip is our little fun attempt at putting those ideas together and going back to our favourite 'family video' look and feel. We want people to watch it like they are watching old VHS baby videos or their parents wedding video."
