This week Pitchfork.tv launched its new series Pitchfork 3D with Deerhunter as their first participants. They kicked it off in the most appropriate manner, performing a trippy retro rendition of 'Primitive 3D' from their most recent release Halcyon Digest.
If you're thinking that this video is pretty dodgy quality it's because there is one thing missing 3D glasses. In a clever twist to get you internet dwellers out of your seats, Pitchfork teamed up with a bunch of independent music stores world wide who will stock the glasses.

Each episode will feature exclusive footage of an artist playing one of their songs integrated in with some psychedelic 3D effects and imagery. Pitchfork 3D have announced they will be rolling out three more episodes this month, each totally different from the last.
