The playlist is updated on Spotify and Apple Music and includes the hottest songs from Australia and around the world. This week, we’ve gathered new songs from Polaris, Miley, Adéla, Logic1000, 3%, Angus & Julia Stone, and much more.

Polaris - Without You
After three long years, Sydney metalcore giants Polaris have returned with the crushing Without You. And the song crushes in various ways: razor-sharp riffs, filthy breakdowns, brutal drums, vicious screams and stunning singing from Jamie Hails. But it’s the dedication to the band’s dearly departed guitarist, Ryan Siew, that hits the hardest.
Miley Cyrus - Bass Persuades
Miley Cyrus is ready to dance, even if the kids don’t want to. With the synth-led Bass Persuades, she seductively sings, pulling fans into her new universe that’s full of bass, chaos, and singalong verses and chorus.
Adéla - Nicole Kidman
Slovakian hitmaker Adéla has finally released her long-awaited debut album, PRIMA. She shines on the bass-driven, cheeky Nicole Kidman, a high-energy number brimming with self-confidence.
Logic1000 & Christine and the Queens - The Only One
The third taste from Logic1000’s forthcoming album, Confirmation!, is a banging, dreamy pop track starring French artist Christine and the Queens. And The Only One is an uplifting single, putting faith in the next generation of young people to get the world moving in a more positive direction.
Angus & Julia Stone - The Start
With a new album, Karaoke Bar, out today, Angus & Julia Stone put it all out there on record highlight The Start. The rhythmic, smooth track lets both Angus and Julia Stone’s vocals shine as they open up to emotional release.
3% & Fred Leone - Not Many - Ganay Biralunbar
First Nations collective 3% have teamed up with Butchulla songman Fred Leone to reimagine MC Scribe’s hip-hop classic, Not Many – Ganay Biralunbar. 3%’s first official track with new member Mi-kaisha, the energetic cut balances melody and guitar solos with hard-hitting beats.
Rebecca Black - Anaheim Star
Rebecca Black opens her latest album, Age of the Exhibitionist, with a bang with Anaheim Star. Driven by beats, samples, chopped-up vocals and an addictive chorus, the track almost becomes a 2026 version of Hollaback Girl.
Armlock - Half Time
Melbourne duo Armlock have returned with the melancholy Half Time, with electronic sampling, woozy guitars, and hushed vocals. According to Armlock, Half Time explores “the gap between existing and feeling.”
Ladyhawke - Bad To The Bone
Currently in Brisbane for BIGSOUND, hype for Ladyhawke is at a fever pitch and certainly isn’t coming down after hearing her latest electroclash banger, Bad To The Bone—her first new music in five years. And, no, it’s not a cover of George Thorogood and the Destroyers’ rock song of the same name.
HEADSEND - Biopsy Of An Unknown Growth
Biopsy Of An Unknown Growth is perhaps the most grunge song HEADSEND have ever released. The Aussie trio have unleashed another epic track featuring drawled vocals, crunchy guitars and drums, and heavy melodies.
