She's worked for VIVID, curated TEDxSydney, edited for countless publications and now she's stepping into politics. Get to know Jess Scully.

JESS SCULLY is known around Sydney from the many hats she wears. From being an editor of magazines like Empty, Yen, SummerWinter and Hotpress, to her incomparable work with VIVID for the past eight years (she is the director of Vivid Ideas as well), Jess Scully lives and breaths Sydney.

She's curated public art projects at Green Square Library and Plaza, 60 Martin Place and Barrack Place, as well as having curated events such as Junket and TEDxSydney. She's an avid believer in Keep Sydney Open, and truly believes in the nightlife and live music scenes that Sydney has seen over the years. Now, she's set to make even more of a difference as she heads to the polls tomorrow running for Lord Mayor Clover Moore's party in the local Sydney election. Believing in herself and her causes, Jess Scully is a shining example of bringing culture into politics and we are behind her 100%.

To get to know her a little better, we asked Scully to tell us about the music she is currently into. Check out her answers below!

So good to see Tkay Maidza getting global attention thru Tidal Rising, which is awesome. Her track with Killer Mike is good.
