What's the song about? A close family member of mine is currently struggling with methamphetamine. This theme pops up a bit in the tune.
How long did it take to write/record? I wrote it in about five minutes. Recording took much longer. We recorded it with Andy Lawson, he is a good friend and really good at his job.
Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? Forthcoming release.
What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? I was really enjoying organic sounds. And found myself starting to pull away from the electronic vibe we had in the past.
We'll like this song if we like... Radiohead, Tv On The Radio, Interpol, Foals.
Do you play it differently live? We are playing it live for the first time this Saturday. So I guess we will find out.
