What's the song about? Fatal Attraction

How long did it take to write/record?: Quicksand is the first single from The Jason Singh Project. Over the next 12 months I will write, produce and release a new single every eight weeks, documenting every step of the way. 

Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? Quicksand is the first single released from The Jason Singh Project - six singles over the next 12 months. A new release every eight weeks. Next single, Your Love is due out 16 December.

What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? I am inspired by my surroundings and the variety of music I am listening to at the particular time. Currently I am listening to Sia, The Weeknd and Troye Sivan.

Do you play it differently live? Yes. Live I play it as a two piece using a Roland hand sonic drum pad, bass, guitar and keyboard and then loop it all.
