As the only large scale Jewish Music Festival in Australasia, what is Shir Madness' effect on the community? I don't know that it has an effect as such but it is a wonderful celebration of community and excellence in music presentation.
Does being a Jewish Music Festival make Shir Madness particularly different to other music festivals? It gives a very solid cultural framework to hang everything within it from.
Does anything Jewish particularly influence your music? Yes.
