PREMIERE: Quintessential Doll - Beautiful Violence

Quintessential Doll is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist Steph Linsdell. Linsdell, who produces, records, writes and performs her own music, is set to premiere her dark new track Beautiful Violence today, exclusively on theMusic.com.au.

The song Beautiful Violence is a metaphor for the ruthless emotion that the human soul can deploy during conflict. An ominous yet inviting track, you can see how her music directly alludes to influences she cites such as Regina Spektor or Bat for Lashes.

Her live performance sees Linsdell display true versatility and skill, providing a cohesive experience between vocal, instrumental and electronic elements. Her single Live Like I'm Dying, from her EP Let Not the Monsters Destroy Me, granted her a Queensland Music Award in 2015.
