Marear expands on people out here saying "I wrote this song very quickly and effortlessly one evening in the lounge room of my apartment upon being in a space where I was thinking deeply about several different scenarios I found myself in at the time and observations I'd made. It explores my own personal beliefs on the changeable nature of socialisation - in that it can be so imperative to us feeling nourished and fulfilled as individuals, yet simultaneously a process that can take so much out of us.
