Peninsula Picnic Focus: Bob Evans

More Bob Evans Bob Evans

Answered by: Bob Evans

What would we find in your dream picnic basket? Two bottles of Grange, cheese, quince paste, biscuits, salted bread, olive oil, balsamic glaze, salt and vinegar chips, a puppy and another couple of bottles of wine in case I have company.

What's your favourite wine to bring on a picnic and why? Well my favourite wine on almost any occasion is Shiraz, but in the event that the temperature rises above 28 degrees ( unlikely in Melbourne) I'd settle for a chilled Pinot Gris.

What are you most looking forward to about Peninsula Picnic? I'm most looking forward to having my family with me. I usually play in toilets, or if I'm lucky a dank pub, so my kids rarely get to see what I do for a living.

What do you think about one-day boutique festivals like this where the food and drink component is just as important as the music? Well it's probably symptomatic of getting a little older isn't it? We like to have our nice things. Look, as long as I'm invited I think it's fricken' great!
