What made you want to get involved with Newtown Festival Week? The festival is iconic in Newtown's history, and is a celebration of everything that creates Newtown's character. It is important to be part of the community.
What is it about Newtown that makes it a great place to hold events or have a business there? Arts and entertainment are a part of the Newtown way of life, which builds a diverse and widely accepting community.
How would you describe Newtown to someone who hasn't been there before? It's an artistic, eclectic, diverse, social and accepting community. Great shopping, incredible bars and restaurants, friendly people and something for everyone.
What ways do you think Newtown could be improved? A beach would be nice.
What are you doing to celebrate Newtown Festival week? We will have entertainment throughout the weekend, focusing heavily on the Friday Visions night in Waywards. Local artists will perform in the beer garden on the festival afternoon.
