What made you want to get involved with Newtown Festival Week? Hartsyard and The Gretz are both passionate about being involved with the local community and what better way to be involved in Newtown than being part of Newtown Festival!
What is it about Newtown that makes it a great place to hold events or have a business there? Newtown has such a strong sense of community; you can always rely on locals to come and support your business. There is a strong element of regular and repeat customers.
How would you describe Newtown to someone who hasn't been there before? Accepting and thriving. There is such an eclectic bunch of people who are really into whatever it is they do.

What ways do you think Newtown could be improved? The charm of Newtown is in its quirks, you have to love it and accept it for what it is; That said, it is impossible to get away without a parking ticket every few months.
What are you doing to celebrate Newtown Festival week? Hartsyard is one of the Newtown Locals serving up fairground food on the day at the festival. The Gretz is running a beer and oyster special all week in the lead up.
