"That's what Newtown is, a collection of wildly different people that appreciate artists and their art."

More Gordi More Gordi

Presumably you've been to the Newtown Festival before, what's your best memory? Definitely watching the dog show while gobbling down a Mary's burger. I particularly like that a prize is given for the most disadvantaged looking dog.

What's first and why - music or stalls or bars? I usually like to canvass my options first with regards to food and beverages so I'll hit the stalls then set up camp at one of the stages.

Favourite spot at the festival to chill and watch the world go by? In front of the Federation Stage on the grass; you just can't beat a natural amphitheatre.

What would be your entry into the dog show? Definitely a dachshund in the doggie dash. I've seen YouTube videos of dachshunds taking out their opponents mid-race and my imaginary dachshund would be just as fierce.

Aside from the festival, what are your favourite Newtown locations? Mary's, the Courthouse Hotel and Gather on the Green where you can eat your breakfast on a picnic rug across from the cafe.

Why do you think your music is a good fit for the Newtown Festival? Because I think it can appeal to lots of different types of people and that's what Newtown is, a collection of wildly different people that appreciate artists and their art.

If you were to enter Miss Newtopia, open to any age or gender, what would be your secret to winning? Kill the other contestants.

When and where are you performing on the day? 1.30pm at the Federation Stage.
