Perth kids Conor Barton and Naomi Robinson are following up on the buzz they created at just 17 years old. The 2015 triple j Unearthed High champs have progressed their "guitar-driven dream pop" after Call My Name captured the attention of Aussie audiences, adding new members to the original duo line-up to "fill the songs out", explains Barton.

He and Robinson have been playing together for five years since their humble beginnings jamming in Robinson's basement. They released their debut EP Television Love in December — recorded at REC Studios in Sydney with producer Carl Fox and Jack Moffitt from The Preatures involved on mixing duties — and now they're following it up with a national tour. "We'd been working on the songs for a while before recording, so I think they were naturally pretty cohesive. When we went into recording, we decided we wanted an overarching vibe of escapism and dreaminess," explains Barton.

"Most of the songs sound pretty true to the record but some have been changed up a little. Let's Be Friends is more jazzy now and In Time is faster."

Embracing their signature sun-bleached sound, Robinson says she was influenced by "... Connan Mockasin, specifically his Boiler Room set. Very obsessed with his chugging bass lines and how they sat next to the drums. [I] was also listening to Mild High Club and was in awe of their choice of chords they use together."
