What's your favourite thing about the blues/roots/rock/stoner scene? Diversity. Aside from being an old, old wooden ship, there's so much fantastic music out there that could classify as Australian blues. The scene has its own unique sound, with crossover between the blues, roots, rock and stoner sub-genres.

What's the most rock'n'roll thing that's every happened to you? Waking up in Memphis with a heinous hangover which was cured by visiting Elvis' graveside, a trip to Sun Studios and the greatest fried chicken at Gus's Chicken Shack.

What's your dream rider? Dry white toast, four whole fried chickens and a Coke.

Which other bands at Mojo Burning are you keen to check out? Shaun Kirk. First time Jem (drummer) and I saw Shaun, he was busking Bob Dylan tunes out the front of Coles in Mooroolbark. Since then he's become one of Australia's hardest working blues arts and continues to inspire.

What can we expect from your set at Mojo Burning? Hard-hitting, foot-stomping blues. We'll be previewing songs off our debut album during a high-energy show guaranteed to get y'all bouncing. At some point, my hat will probably come off.

What time and stage will you be playing at Mojo Burning? 10.15PM on the No Filler Stage
