How did you get into the barbecue business? BATO Brothers BBQ is not a business, it's a way of life. We live, eat and shit BBQ (are we allowed to say "eat"?)

What's your signature dish? People say our ribs are great but we reckon our charcoal grilled Chevapchichi is sweet.

Can you let us in on what you're bringing to the BBQ Wars? The art of BBQ is mostly in the process and timing is everything! We use standard rubs utilising salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and stay clear of peanuts and crystal meth because of its addictive nature.

Which bands/artists are you keen to catch at Meatstock? Darko is a BIG Fan of Aca Lukas and Jim is into bands that have subtle undertones of ABBA and Rammstein. Merwin will tap his toes to anything... including silence

If you could feed any band/artist playing at Meatstock who would it be and what would you serve them? It would have to be a three hour slow cooked BBQ tomahawk steak for The Tommyhawks; if they don't eat BBQ perhaps a sprinkling of alfalfa with some more alfalfa.

What else are you looking forward to at Meatstock? We are looking forward to the slow cooked meat love'n camaraderie shared by all lovers of real BBQ and hope to convert a few vegans along the way.
