What do you think is your act's greatest strength?
Lack of agenda, unfashionable, extremely passionate, sonically aware.
If you could time travel back to any gig in history which would it be and why?
I think James Brown live around 1969/1970 would be pretty good… as would have any AC/DC show featuring Bon Scott.
What movie do you think your music would best accompany and why?
...Loose, that Clint Eastwood movie featuring an orang-utan named Clyde… Why? It's morally ambiguous, utterly confusing and quite fun.
What are your plans for the immediate future?
To sell eight or nine copies of our new album, Mysteries.
What is your favourite song lyric and why?
“I don't wanna be buried in a pet cemetary/ I don't want to live my life again.” The Ramones, because I've seen the movie - I know the consequences.
Favourite “pick me up for a big night” drink?
Squeezed orange juice with crushed amphetamines.
Favourite hangover cure?
Time.
