RAEKO is back with his second original track Back 2 U. The California-based producer is 1/3 of indie pop band Sir Sly, and recently created his own project RAEKO, starting with remixes and releasing his first original Everybody Knows a couple months ago. This second original track showcases his talent as a producer, featuring a bumping, danceable beat, perfectly layered synths, and vocals from Maya Tuttle of The Colourist. This song really puts RAEKO on the map for me, and I’m excited to see what he comes up with in the future.
"When I wrote Back 2 U, I imagined it with a female vocalist and I thought of Maya right away. I've known the Colourist for a while and always loved Maya's voice, so it was great to be able to collaborate on the track with her." - Raeko
