What can punters expect from your Hidden Treasures show? Over the last few years I’ve played as a duo, but at Hidden Treasures, I’ll perform with a full four-piece band. I finally figured out how I wanted to build on my sound, and found the right balance of musicians.

What is it about Fremantle that produces so much talent? We’re bored, so we drink and make music! But we do have to entertain ourselves in this isolated city. Or maybe it’s that old cliché - there’s something in the water. There’s a creative energy in Freo unlike anywhere else.

What other acts on the line-up should people check out and why? Pow Negro or Human Buoy. These guys have a huge future ahead of them!

Highlights from other years? Would have to say watching Red Engine Caves tear it up, or the always-amazing Odette Mercy.

What else are you working on right now? We’re about to drop the next single off our forthcoming EP, set for launch right before summer. We’ll also be touring nationally for the first time ever in September. There are a couple more things, but they’re hush-hush for now!
