When did you start making music and why? Rick emerged in 2013, in response to the lack of thrustcore bands around. Now everybody wishes to employ a dazzling assortment of silkie bantams and forcefully plunge their crotches towards unsuspecting audiences for obvious reasons.

Sum up your musical sound in four words? Thrust Core Mother Fucker.

If you could support any band in the world – past or present – who would it be? Screamin’ Jay Hawkins: fathered 57 children and got stabbed by his best mate. He is Rick’s spirit guide and mentor.

If you could only listen to one album forevermore, what would it be and why? Well that’s an easy one. Rick’s opus consisting of 700 tracks of unadulterated brilliance, scheduled for release in 2017.

Greatest rock’n’roll moment of your career to date? We were unintentionally responsible for a fantastic Sydney venue being shut down, by whipping the crowd into a thrust frenzy and also possibly playing too loud. Which is a shame because Rick is committed to workplace health and safety.

Why should people come and see your band? Audience attempts to discourage inappropriate moisture egress and penile expansion may result in strengthened hip flexors and increased sexual function.
