When did you start making music and why? Forming in June 2016, Dandecat started making music together after discovering our common love for the same musical styles and collaborative songwriting. We wish to share it with people.
Sum up your musical sound in four words? Alt/funk/jazz.
If you could only listen to one album forevermore, what would it be and why? Probably the latest Alabama Shakes album Sound & Color - each song is a work of art, and strikes places and emotions that I'm sure anyone and everyone has felt before. Simply stunning.
Greatest rock'n'roll moment of your career to date? Probably our first gig back in July, we managed to pack out the band room at the Toff. An absolutely irreplaceable feeling to know that people come to support and embrace live music, and to share experiences. Just the best.
Why should people come and see your band? To relax, share stories and dance in wonderful company. Absolutely no judgement. We want people to have a good time.
