Why should punters visit you? HRAFF has a powerful line-up of films that will engage audiences with stories from around the world. 

What’s the history of the event? HRAFF is in its 9th year and is a not-for-profit arts organisation that explores diverse and inspiring human stories through the mediums of film, art, music and forums. The critical intersect of creative cultural expression and the bold and brave storytelling of the artists, filmmakers and musicians is the heart and soul of what the HRAFF is about.

Any advice for first timers who want to visit the event? Film and art have so much power to influence the way we see the world, so have an open mind.

Who's performing this time around? They Will Have to Kill Us First: Malian Music in Exile, Chasing Asylum (opening night), Land Grabbing, The Bad Kids, Prison Songs.

Do you have any plans for the event in the future? Annual event.

When and where for your next event?: HRAFF at Brisbane Powerhouse from 24 May to 26 May. HRAFF in Sydney's Dendy Cinema Newtown from 24 May to 28 May. HRAFF in Perth at Luna on SX Cinema from 30 May to 1 June.
