What will make your brew stand out from all of the rest on offer at Good Beer Week? Ridiculous hoppiness and maltiness, and still with great balance. Our beers are just devastatingly good and have an unparalleled depth of flavour. We also have some drop dead gorgeous graphic design.

Are you making any special brews for the event? We've made Compendium Monastic Red IPA. People sometimes say we're a one-trick pony, what with all the hops, so why would we disappoint them? Super hoppy, but we've also brought a pretty wicked Belgian yeast game on this one.

Why do you think Australians are starting to favour boutique and craft breweries over mainstream beers? Punters have figured out that the big boys have been tricking us into drinking the cheapest possible piss they could make with clever marketing. We want to drink something that makes us smile, and even challenges our preconceptions of beer.

What exactly do you think makes a good beer? Flavour and balance. Good beer starts with respect for the drinker. No bullshit slogans or gimmicks. An experienced brewer who actually loves beer and is uncompromising in their pursuit of flavour and balance will make good beer.

When and where can people sample your wares at Good Beer Week? We have some great events — Boilermakers, Beer & Boardgames and our Arbory beer and cider day are highlights.
