Widely praised as the pioneers of electronic music/grandfathers of EDM, Kraftwerk have just been announced for Vivid LIVE!
Widely praised as the pioneers of electronic music/grandfathers of EDM, KRAFTWERK are the group that started it all. Using everything from vocoders - to computer speech software - to TV remote control circuit boards the group are known for their strictly electronic, driving, repetitive rhythms and catchy melodies.
Great news for anyone who loves, likes or is even vaguely interested in these heavyweights of forward thinking electronic music is: the group have recently announced that they will be bringing their groundbreaking 3D KRAFTWERK – THE CATALOGUE 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 show to the Sydney Opera House this May, as part of Vivid LIVE 2013.

Essentially what this means is they are playing entire body of work in sequence over three huge nights, starting at their groundbreaking Autobahn (1974) and ending at Tour De France (2003) [insert Lance Armstrong joke here].
