Now in its sixth year, the ten-day Pyrmont Festival is bringing back the best of Mudgee to Sydney's Pyrmont precinct. The festival has become a popular feature of Sydney's cultural life, supporting country producers and city businesses alike. The festival heads off on 13 May with local eateries, wine bars and hotels featuring specially prepared degustation menus curated by Pyrmont's top chefs, all served with hand picked boutique wines from 20 of Mudgee's wineries. Participating Mudgee Wineries include Burrundulla Wines, Robert Stein Vineyard, Huntington Estate and Petersen’s, Mudgee Ridge, Moothi Estate, Walter Wines, Burnbrae Wines and Manners Wines.
Highlights include the two-day, free entry family event at Pirrama Park on Saturday 14 May and Sunday 14 May, with live performances by Hi-5, local artists, kid's entertainment, rides, exhibitions and around 100 stalls featuring samples of Mudgee produce.
