How did you first become involved in the music business? I left school in 1979 to work with my school mate Roland Gift and his first band The Akrylykz. I built my own PA system and boom, I'm in the biz.
What's your area of expertise and what experience do you have? Over the last 36 years I've had a go at audio engineer, record producer, studio owner, tour manager, artist manager, A&R consultant, record company executive and creative entrepreneur.
What topics will you be mostly talking about at Face The Music? Record production, A&R (artist and repertoire) and careers in the music industry.
What do you hope to personally take away from Face The Music? Hearing about the new and recycled trends and generally meeting the new, young, dynamic, early career music industry professionals.
What's one question about the music industry you'd love to have the answer to? Can you still make a living working in the music industry?
