EP Focus: Emily Joy

EP Title? Emily Joy
How many releases do you have now? The first single Barricade released July 2016, hit #2 on the iTunes charts. This is the forthcoming debut EP.
Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? I am heavily inspired by the contemporary 'Nashville sound' that combines genuine songwriting with powerful and uplifting pop/rock production i.e. Dolly Parton's songs mixed with Shania Twain's vocal hooks. 
What's your favourite song on it? Barricade tells the story of heartbreak, a scenario where love simply isn't enough and is my own true story.
We'll like this EP if we like... Country/Pop artists including Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Kelsea Ballerini, Katy Perry, The Band Perry, Keith Urban.
When and where is your launch/next gig? My EP launch is on September 10 at Jimmy's Den in Perth. Starts at 7:30pm with special guests Jasmine Atkins, Kurt Carrera, Young Robin.
