What kind of courses do you offer? We offer nationally accredited courses in film and television production. Students are provided with hands-on tuition in short film production on up to 20 films per year, using industry-standard equipment and post-production facilities, taking students from concept right through to the marketing of their films.
Do you offer practical on-site learning or more of a theoretical base?
Our hands-on workshops are taught by professionals who are currently working in the film and television industry. Our trainers are able to provide students with practical knowledge that is current and meets industry standards, which gives our students employability skills as well as creating vital networks within the industry.
What makes you different to other educational institutions?
Since its beginnings in 1981, FCF has held a significant place in Australian social and educational history, and is widely recognised for its initiatives, its standards of excellence and as an instigator in many areas of film and television education. We are very hands-on. Students learn by MAKING films.
