Following the release of Ceres’ 2016 album, Drag It Down On You, the Melbourne group thought they were done. Frontman Tom Lanyon realised the negative impact of his highly personal, biographical songwriting and the effect it was having on those around him. It was unclear if Ceres would ever recover. 

We Are A Team saw the band come back together, all stemming from lead single Viv In The Front Seat and the end of Lanyon's writer's block, to deliver one of their strongest releases to date, full of honest, buoyant and fulfilling tracks.
