Give us a short description of your music: I dabble in the psych world, dip my toes in some soul and brush my teeth in pop – does that make sense?

Which acts are on your must-see list at BIGSOUND? Definitely The Lazy Eyes, I've been eager to see them for like two years. Also, keen to see Butter, Jack Davies & The Bush Chooks and to see Hallie absolutely kill it. 

Why should people come and see you among the many amazing bands at BIGSOUND? Come see me find a million different ways to sing "Na-na-na-na". I think you'd be impressed. But seriously my band and I have been working hard to BRING IT, I just wanna make people dance and take them to an unknown territory of psych-soul-pop. #diptoes #brushteeth

What music trends do you think are dominating right now, and do you have any predictions for the coming year? There are a lot of acts with one-word names in the world right now – so super stoked to be apart of that movement, ha. I think there is also going to be a whole lot more music with the 2/4 rumba drum beat in the coming year.

In your career to date, what have been the key watershed moments? When people sing the "Na-na-na-na"s with me, it's more like a waterfall than a watershed! It's a bit special.

What industry lessons would you like to take away from the BIGSOUND conference? I want to learn about international touring and more about getting my music heard overseas!

What do you identify as the most pressing issue impacting the Australian music industry at present? Combatting mental health issues in the industry. I think it's important that artists feel comfortable to talk about the realities of how hard life as a musician can be. I hope the industry continues to raise awareness about mental health.

What is the best bit of advice you've been given to prepare for your time at BIGSOUND? Someone just said it's hectic, so just be ready. They also said to play well. So yeah, I think I am ready? Oh and make use of the lime scooters. Duh.
