Give us a short description your music: A unique blend of funk, rock, blues and soul music with loads of guitar. A mixture of Prince and Hendrix. 

What is the best thing that's happened to you/your band so far? Working with Prince. Playing major festivals in Australia and internationally. Getting heavy airplay on triple j. Working with Questlove, The Roots on the Rio Olympics Campaign.

Has the party side of the music industry been all you were hoping for so far in your career? I'm not in the music industry for the party, so I don't know. I'm in it for the music.

What industry lessons would you like to take away from the BIGSOUND conference? Learn more about marketing and networking. Getting more exposure for my music and reaching a broader audience.

What acts are you looking forward to checking out at the BIGSOUND showcase? I'm looking forward to discovering new artists I haven't heard of. I think that's a good thing about the BIGSOUND conference, being able to discover new artists you haven't heard of.

Why should people come and see you from amongst the many cool bands at BIGSOUND? Something a little funky.
