Where did the title of your new album come from? True believers are people who hang on. They're people who are lost in a future that never quite came to be but stubbornly cling to the ideals that made it seem so worthwhile.
How many releases do you have now? We've released four EPs so far but there's a couple more in the pipeline this year.
How long did it take to write/record? It's taken almost four years to assemble this record from the seed of an idea to rounding it out into a complete concept.
Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? I was listening to a lot of Australian music from the '80s and '90s, stuff that I grew up with. Stuff like Paul Kelly, Richard Clapton, The Black Sorrows, Go-Betweens and Crowded House.
What's your favourite song on it? I love each of the songs on there. They all fill a particular role in the record's sequence.
Will you do anything differently next time? Of course. The next record will be completely different to this one: different band, different style, different everything.
