Describe your show in a tweet: An electronic phantasmagoric polystylistic soundscape created by playfully tinkering with the nostalgic sounds of old technology.

What was the inspiration behind your show? We knew old music awoke nostalgia in us and we wondered if using the sounds of old technology as the source material for new music would also have powerful emotional pull. Audience response so far suggests it does!

Tell us a bit about the creative team working on this project? We won Best Music at the 2015 Melbourne Fringe! We are two classically trained composer-performers passionate about sharing our fun, musically interesting and technologically quirky show. We hope to take our audiences on a powerful emotional journey through unexpected means.

What do you love about Fringe and why? Fringe made us possible! Our show is new, exciting and risky — typewriters are percussion instruments and old computer games provide a live-sampled sound source. We have had unbelievably positive support from adventurous Fringe audiences and dedicated Fringe staff.

When and where is your Fringe show: 12 — 25 Feb, 6.30pm, Captains Quarters, Upstairs at Hains & Co.
