Young Franco - Close 2 U Remix Pack
Luke Million, Benson, Capetown and Airwolf take Young Franco's latest for a spin.. It’s been a huge year for Brisbane gun Young Franco (while we could never get sick of posting about him - he's probably the most posted-about dude on our website. Following the release of his two-track EP Close 2 U ft. JOY (listen HERE), nationwide headline tour dates and generally setting clubs alight, he’s now back with a four-track remixp package for Close 2 U - featuring re-works from fellow dancefloor destroyers Luke Million, Benson, Airwolf and Capetown. Each brings their own distinct flavour the mix: Airwolf goes dark and deep; Benson wants to keep you on the d-floor late; Capetown brings some '90s house vibes; and Luke Million brings his patented brand of Swiss disco. The house music renaissance is well and truly here, and the Close 2 U remix pack is tesament to that: UPCOMING SHOWS: Sat 20 Sep // The Factory - SUNSHINE COAST Sun 21 Sep // Stranded - STRADBROKE ISLAND Thur 25 Sep // Baker St – G

Tropical Island Essentials: Paces
5 things Paces will be packing before Stranded Festival.. Paces will join an epic lineup this coming Sunday 21 September when the tropical party vibes take over South Stradbroke Island for Stranded, featuring a killer line-up of Alison Wonderland, Allday, Safia, Client Liaison, Just A Gent, Paces, Promnite, Designated, Young Franco and Fishing. We couldn't think of a better crew to get your desert island rave vibes on with, and to get you in the mood we asked Paces for a few island essentials. These are his stories: 1. A HAMMOCK If I’m stuck on an island I may as well make the most of it and get some down-time. 2. SPICED RUM ...To tip into the coconuts which I assume are plentiful on this island. 3. MY DOG, CHILLI. She’s great for endless LOLs! And she loves the beach more than life itself so a deserted island would be no probs. 4. MEMES 5. A BEARD REMINISCENT OF TOM HANKS' IN CASTAWAY. I want to look the part. No one’s surviving a deserted island with a clean shaven face. Come o

Sunday 21 September sees good vibes party Stranded hit South Stradbroke Island with a killer line-up featuring Alison Wonderland, Allday, Safia, Client Liaison, Just A Gent, Paces, Promnite, Designated, Young Franco and Fishing. We couldn't think of a better crew to get your desert island rave vibes on with, and to get you in the mood we asked Young Franconstein for a few essential tropical club bangers. These are his stories: Nicole Millar - Taken (ISLND Remix) This song is absolutely nuts. Literally EVERYTHING about is dope. The ISLND dudes are killing it at the moment and bringing something pretty fresh.  Mickey Kojak - Feel My Pain (Poolclvb Remix) Classic House vibes, vocals are awesome and so is the remix. Mickey Kojak is gonna be doing some big things in the next six months. Cherokee - Don't Matter (feat. Darianna Everett) Play this one all the time, the production on it is so on point. Love this kinda vibe. FKJ

Young Franco - Close 2 U EP Tour
Yung Young Franco is taking his new banger on the road.. By our count, Brissy gun Young Franco is having a hella-year. First boogieing his way into our ear space on the Pilerats Rat Pack Compilation #1 (HERE), he's toured the country a BUNCH of times, released a huge free remix PACKAGE, jumped on the Alison Wonderland Warehouse Project TOUR, and most recently played every night (!) in the RBMA Splendour In The Grass STAGE. We could never tire of talking about that sexy hunk of disco-house deviancy, and his recent two-track EP CLOSE 2 U is just wonderful: He's back on the road again this week to tour it, playing a whole heap of shows. Follow him on FACEBOOK to keep track of one of our fave dudes in the country. Young Franco - Close 2 U EP
The biologically not-recognised third Franco has a couple of killer free tunes for you.. Brisbane boy wonder Young Franco has just calmly dropped some fresh tunes on the world in the form of the Close 2 U EP, a two-tracker featuring the titular tune (plus vocals from Joy), along with Hurricane. The former is a classic slice of piano house, featuring the soothing vocals of fellow Brisbane babe Joy, while the latter starts out pretty chill before slamming down some super-bass vibes. Both are killer, and you can stream 'em below, or even better, download them for free! Young Franco is playing about 24 sets over the course of Splendour In The Grass, so make sure you catch him 'cause he knows how to get you the funk down. Young Franco FACEBOOK // SOUNDCLOUD

Things We Learned: Wonderland Warehouse Project
Told you what to expect, now hear what we got.. After Alison Wonderland gave us a short briefing on what to expect on the Wonderland Warehouse Project tour, the DJ/producer definitely has not disappointed on her three shows thus far. Check a little video evidence below, and here's what one of our contributors thought after the Brisbane show last Saturday night, one which saw her manfully brave a ravenous crowd of ravers, with a crutch. YOUNG FRANCO CAN BRING IT  We arrive, me hobbling behind on crutches after an unfortunate mountain climbing accident, at 6:30pm. The warehouse is already heaving and 3/4 full, all for Brisbane’s own Young Franco. At one point he throws a shirt into the crowd, which nearly results in a brawl mid-dance floor. His hit Brooklyn has everyone inside moving, and shows everyone he is one to to watch. Young Franco’s set was the perfect warm-up, with his energetic stage presence feeding off the crowd’s love for him. WAVE RACER IS THE FUCKING MAN The crowd continu

What You Get At The Wonderland Warehouse Project
Alison Wonderland gives us the lowdown on her upcoming warehouse rave parties.. As anticipation for the upcoming Wonderland Warehouse Project reaches fever pitch (as in, it starts in Melbourne TONIGHT), we decided to go straight to the source of the idea for what you can expect when Alison Wonderland, Wave Racer and Young Franco roll into a warehouse near you. 1. NEW TUNES I’m really excited to be dropping other tracks from my Calm Down EP. I don’t have a microphone when I play, so you’ll just have to work out what’s what (or I’ll just wink twice, that’s how you’ll know). 2. YOUNG FRANCO & WAVE RACER I love both these guys. We’ve had some crazy times on the road before - I can’t not jump around when they’re playing their sets. They’re both very talented artists, who I have a lot of respect for, and being able to do this tour alongside them - it’s fucking brilliant. 3. AN EXPERIENCE I’m trying to make this not just another DJ set - I want it to be a an experience. It’s a way of me say
