How did you get together?
I first started out DJing maybe when I was about 15. I was really into turntablism, hip hop, scratching and sampling.
Sum up your musical sound in four words?
Funky tunes, nice basslines.
If you could support any band in the world – past or present – who would it be?
The Roots. They are probably one of the most important (and underrated) hip hop groups ever.
You’re being sent into space, no iPod, you can bring one album, what would it be?
How I Got Over by The Roots. I’ve thrashed that album. Special mention to MBDTF by Kanye West.
Greatest rock’n’roll moment of your career to date?
Haha! The Alison Wonderland warehouse shows where pretty loose – the last night especially.
Why should people come and see your band?
Hopefully they’ll hear something they haven’t heard before!
