Hayden James lines up his debut Australian live tour.. Like an early Christmas present Aussie beatsmith Hayden James dropped an absolutely ball-tearing single late last year in Something About You, and he's just announced an early-2015 tour to celebrate the fact. It'll be his debut live headline tour in Australia, one that will see him joined by producer-on-the-rise Mickey Kojak for a select series of dates over February and March. The second exclusive track from Future Classic's Teen Idols is great.. Following last week's announcement of the release of Future Classic's Teen Idols compilation, which came with a brand new Touch Sensitive track (info HERE), this week Hayden James has thrown his contribution to the compilation up on Soundcloud in Something About You. It's another typically smooth affair from one of the smoothest producers this country has to offer - a slow, housey jam with a silky vocal. The latest apple in Future Classic's eye mulls over a huge year, with bigger things to come.. Jess Higgs is somewhere in Sydney watching a storm materialise over a beach. I’m in Brisbane, surrounded by clutter in my study. We’ve hung up on each, and have been playing ping pong with each other’s calls for the past few minutes trying to get the interview back on track: real professional. Chances are you might already be familiar with Higgs’ work, previously featuring on Flight Facilities’ Foreign Language as Jess, and also as her moniker George Maple on Flume’s Bring You Down.   George Maple, and 2014, sees Higgs taking a step out of the shadows and into the limelight of a fledgling solo career. New single Talk Talk, from her forthcoming EP Vacant Space, is a blend of evocative, electronic production and some sultry, soulful vocals. Currently splitting her time between Sydney, America and London, she took 15 minutes out of her Tuesday morning to talk to me. The new single is Talk Talk.

Basenji finally drops the follow-up to Dawn, and it was worth the wait.. We've been hangin' out for Basenji to drop a new original tune following the huge success of his first single, Dawn, and today that time has come. Marking his first release with taste-maker allstars Future Classics, Heirloom pays homage to Cashmere Cat, while still putting Basenji's own unique spin on it. And after he remixed Sable's Foolin' to epic results ealier this year (listen HERE), Basenji has already firmly established himself on the Australian production scene. Panama's dreamy new single can be yours for free.. Stay Forever is the new tour single from Aussie indie-pop outfit and Future Classic kids Panama, and it's been on repeat since we first heard it a couple of days back. It comes from the band whilst they traverse the globe, playing festivals and shows around Europe following their debut North American tour. With a new album almost out and tour kicking off, Seekae answer a couple of Q's..
