Thrupence - Don't You Mind
Future Classic's newest signing is off to a flyer with Don't You Mind.. Two years after causing a Bandcamp meltdown with his independent EP release Voyages, Melbourne producer Thrupence has dropped a new single in Don't You Mind, which also doubles as his official introduction to the Future Classic family. It's not hard to see why - Don't You Mind is a breath of fresh air in our future-beat/Australian sound world - cinematic, ambient vibes infused with lazy yet compelling hip hop beats, and a sultry vocal sample from blues singer Bon House. First it reminded me of Pogo and the Avalanches, but it very quickly becomes its own beast - and a supremely dope one at that. It's the first track from the 23-year-old's upcoming full-length release, Lessons, set to drop on September 26 via FC. We can't wait, and until then this will remain on repeat as it has done the past few days: Follow Thrupence on FACEBOOK // SOUNDCLOUD // BANDCAMP

Seekae - Test & Recognise (HWLS Remix)
Their national tour is looming, and this remix of the first album single is glorious.. London/Sydney trio Seekae's upcoming national tour is fast approaching, in anticipation of the release of their upcoming third LP, The Worry. A little while back they dropped the first teaser of the album - Test & Recognise, again highlighting the addition of more vocal work from group's Alex Cameron. The side project of Perth beat lords Ta-ku and Kit Pop, HWLS, have added their chilled trap touch the track, in what we believe to be their first official remix following a few originals. The combined talent of all involved has crafted a beautiful re-do of an already beautiful (it's Seekae - derr) song. Give it a spin below, and catch Seekae at one of the following dates: Sat 9 Aug: Darwin Festival, Darwin (Jonti not appearing) Tue 12 Aug: The Zoo, Brisbane w/ Jonti & Tincture Fri 15 Aug: The Gov, Adelaide w/ Jonti & Untzz Twelve Inch Sat 16 Aug: Villa, Perth w/ Jonti & Savoir Fri 22 Aug: 170 Russell St

Seekae - New Video/Supports Announced
A sinister new clip, along with local supports for their Aus' tour.. As we roll full steam ahead to not only the release of Seekae's third LP The Worry on September 12, but their national tour this August, Seekae have released another cracking video clip, this time for latest single, Test & Recognise. Directed by Bark & Cat, who have previously worked with the likes of Vampire Weekend's Baio on his solo single Mira, the video delivers more dark and grimy imagery in the vein of their previous clip, for Another. Enjoy it down the bottom, pre-order The Worry HERE, and mark one of the following dates in your calender: Sat 9 Aug: Darwin Festival, Darwin (Jonti not appearing) Tue 12 Aug: The Zoo, Brisbane w/ Jonti & Tincture Fri 15 Aug: The Gov, Adelaide w/ Jonti & Untzz Twelve Inch Sat 16 Aug: Villa, Perth w/ Jonti & Savoir Fri 22 Aug: 170 Russell Street, Melbourne w/ Jonti & That Feel Sat 23 Aug: The Metro, Sydney w/ Jonti & That Feel
