The tough new single is being launched with a big old tour.

The final song of the set, I Don’t Ever Want To Change coaxes the audience out of their shoegazing stupor to the point of moshing.

As it echoes away, again realise you’ve seen one of the few bands that lives up to the claims often put on them.

It’s something of an emotional bulldozer, a pitiful story of resignation played out under crimson spotlights to send us home, with Liddiard’s Charles Manson eyes still piercing through our minds.

All hyperbole aside, The Drones are still the best band in Australia by so far, it’s getting boring.
