PREMIERE: The Drones Team With Acclaimed Filmmaker For Epic New Clip

Sit back and let The Drones take control

More The Drones The Drones Profile

One of Australia's most critically acclaimed rock band, The Drones have teamed up with acclaimed Melbourne filmmaker Amiel Courtin-Wilson for the video clip to I See Seaweed.

The title track to the band's 2013 record, the volatile track gave Courtin-Wilson plenty to work with. The clip's come out as a gorgeous compilation of scenes and elemtns, which adds a visual depth without detracting from the track. At over eight minutes long, it's an epic as far as music videos go.

Having directed short films and a video clips for The Avalanches and Gelbison previously, Courtin-Wilson recently had his break out with the film Hail, which debuted at the 2011 Venice Film Festival.

The band are currently on the road and will be appearing at the Harvest and The Farmer & The Owl festivals. See below for details.
