The Brissy gun takes a step back from remixes to drop a killer original.. If you read this blog at all you'll know we're big fans of 19-year-old Brisbane producer cln, who lately has been pumping out a series of quality remixes for the likes of Odesza, GRMM and Wookie. But it was his original Sideways EP we first fell in love with, so we're pretty excited he's back on his own stuff, just releasing Satisfy feat. the lush vocals of Sydney outfit Twin Caverns' Lou Millar. And it's another moody slice of electronica from cln, with winding bass and hypnotic melodies under-pinned by cln's ever on-point production. The Electrify remix package adds another great producer, and GRMM announces his live Australian tour.. GRMM's Electrify feat. Father Dude has absolutely smashed it this year - it's been one of the most-played songs on our nation's youth broadcaster, and has seen the up-and-coming producer playing shows around the country. All this week he's been rolling out remixes for the track as part of a special package to celebrate his upcoming national headline tour, seeing re-works from Go Freek, Blindsight and Robin Parris (with Senor Roar to come), each bringing something new to the table. Today we're excited to premiere another re-do from one of our faves in young Brisbane producer cln, who since releasing his great Sideways EP has been steadily putting out equally excellent remixes for the likes of Odesza and Wookie. You can now add GRMM to this solid portfolio, the two's complimenting styles working together nicely, with cln bringing enough of his own vibe to make this another special effor

The blog and management bros are getting into bed for a sexy Christmas party.. Mammal Sounds will be migrating south at the end of November, as they celebrate the festive season with a smashing night music by some of Australia's raddest up-and-coming artists. Taking over the stage at Shebeen in Melbourne will be local electro-duo Back Back Forward Punch (pictured), Sydney disco-funk dudes Midnight Pool Party and Brissy electronic producer cln. Helping them out on the night will be Acid Stag DJ ARDIE, as well as a special guest DJ set from Tasmanian future-beat duo Close Counters. Tickets are on sale now for just $15 HERE, click the poster to go to the FB event.

We've been continuously impressed with young Brisbane producer cln's output since we came across his song Sideways (listen HERE), a precursor to his killer debut EP, Sideways - listen to that one HERE.
