Vance Joy, Courtney Barnett & The Breeders Lead Fairgrounds' Mammoth 2018 Festival

The magical Fairgrounds Festival will be back in Berry this year and it has just released an epic line-up cementing its status as the ultimate summer soiree.

Going down at the Berry Showgrounds on Friday 30 November and Saturday 1 December, Vance Joy and Courtney Barnett will lead a stacked bill of local and international legends

They are joined by Billy Bragg, The Breeders, Pond, Winston Surfshirt, Sampa The Great, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Tia Gostelow and a whole lot more. 

Berry itself, which is a short two-hour drive from Sydney, and its real-world charm is the perfect home for a line-up of that calibre. 

To celebrate the first day of summer, you can even bring your cossies and have a swim in the fairground pool or maybe even give the ol' sack race a go at Games on the Green. If your wardrobe or record collection needs a vintage injection, the Market will also cater to all your audio and aesthetic desires. 

Gone are the days of wolfing down a corn dog in a mad dash between sets, as the culinary institution Paperback Camp will return with their long-table dining experience so the live tunas don't have to be your only meal of the day.

A forward thinking festival, you can also drop the kids into Rock School at Little Fairgrounds so they can become the next Barnett and you can retire easy. Brilliant. There's stage performances, things to bounce on, craft activities and more to keep the little ones entertained. 

With plenty of accommodation options for those who want to get in touch with nature and those who can't think of anything worse than sleeping in a tent, the shuttle buses across town are primed to get you into the fest so you can spend your nights under the stars. Plus they're free.

And when the hangover undoubtedly train arrives at the station, (hey us too, we're not judging), Rivercamp is strategically located on a nearby riverbank so you can BYO inflatable swan and cleanse the alcohol from your pores.
